Lifeguards must be 15 and have passed the lifeguard certification along with First Aid & CPR. Duties include general safety, cleaning, front desk, and snack bar assistance.

We offer a number of lifeguard trainings throughout the season, watch your email.

Front Desk/ Snack Bar workers must be 14 years old when the pool opens. Duties include food preparation, handling money, operating computer, navigating member account software, and cleaning.

Lifeguard Training information

2026 Lifeguard Training and Recertification Classes at Four Seasons

We want you!!! Lifeguards start at $13/hr

All activities held at Four Seasons Swim Club, 5600 Brampton Road, Dayton, Ohio 45429

Lifeguarding Certification:
Upon successful completion of in-water and classroom portions of the lifeguarding course, participants will receive a Red Cross Lifeguarding / First Aid certificate and a CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers certificate valid for two years.

Prerequisites & Skill Requirements:
Prior to taking part in any Lifeguarding certification, participants are required to pass the American Red Cross lifeguarding prerequisites. Prerequisites are about a half hour in length and test participants on swimming ability (12 laps), retrieval skills, and treading water. BRING GOGGLES.

Participants must be 15 years of age by the conclusion of the course.

PRICING FOR ONE SESSION:
• Four Seasons Members: $200
• Non-Member: $250

Participants will complete either CLASS SESSION #1 or CLASS SESSION #2.

CLASS SESSION #1

Prerequisite Time:
Thursday May 28th 6pm - 7pm

Full Course Times (must attend all 3):

Friday May 29th, 5:30-9:30
Saturday May 30th, 8-8 (may end earlier)
Sunday May 31st, 8-8 (may end earlier)

CLASS SESSION #2

Thursday June 11th 6pm - 7pm

Full Course Times (must attend all 3):

Friday June 12th, 5:30-9:30
Saturday June 13th, 8-8 (may end earlier)
Sunday June 14th, 8-8 (may end earlier)

Four Seasons members are given priority until May 8th. A minimum of 4 students are required per class.

Age verification (license, passport, birth certificate, etc.) will be required before classes begin.
